We were fortunate to find such a contractor in Miller-Tippens Construction ompany. On the OSU-Oklahoma City Physical Plant Building projecct, Miller-Tippens not only completed the project well within the allotted schedule, but also stayed within the tight budget, never letting the quality of their work waiver. The few change orders associated with the project were priced fairly and were completed in a timely manner. Miller-Tippens was able to achieve all the above by starting the work as soon as the Notice to Proceed was issued, worked diligently using a logical sequence of work schedule and keep all university constituents well informed. In addition, the site was well maintained and was kept clean on a daily basis. When you couple all the obstacles we had on this project, together with the fact that we have never put out a perfect set of plans and specifications, (this job was no exception), the task might seem insurmountable. However. you performed magnificently well and the resulting end product is excellent. In a competitively bid project. such as this, where the low bidder is selected, you normally do not get this kind of cooperation and performance.
